Philippines Welcomes First P.F. Chang’s China Bistro

P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, one of the world’s leading Chinese Bistro brings signature dining experience to the Philippines.

The Scottsdale-based Asian restaurant chain P.F Chang’s China Bistro will open its first branch in the Philippines at the Alabang Town Center on January 19, 2012.

Manila-based foodies will be able to savor the restaurant’s tantalizing array of appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, noodles, rice, vegetables, and desserts.

The new restaurant, like all of its other branches, will feature a contemporary Chinese design complemented with a panoramic, hand-painted mural depicting ancient China.

Global Restaurant Concepts Inc., which signed a development and licensing agreement with P.F. Chang’s China Bistro Inc. said they are to develop eight restaurants in the Philippines over the next five years.

P.F. Chang's China BistroFounded in 1997, Global Restaurant Concepts Inc. has focused on casual dining service in the Philippines. Global Restaurant Concepts Inc. acquired the Philippine franchise for P.F. Chang’s China Bistro.

“We continue to selectively seek out great partners to help us offer our dining experience to other countries around the world,” said Mike Welborn, president of global brand development for the U.S.-based Chinese restaurant chain.

P.F. Chang’s has over 200 restaurants in the United States (US) and 13 international branches.
