I Broke My Jaw Eating A Jawbreaker At Zark’s Burgers

Zark's Burgers' Jawbreaker

On my previous entry, I shared some big slices of pizza by Slices Pizzeria from my Hong Kong trip last April. Today, I’ll share another big dish. A BIG burger from Zark’s Burgers. The Jawbreaker.

Zark's Burgers JawbreakerWhat’s a Jawbreaker?
From top to bottom. Bun, two slices of spam, bacon, patty, overflowing cheese sauce, patty with cheese, patty with cheese, tomatoes, fresh lettuce, and bun. Five inches in height, four inches in width, one and a half pounds. Calories? They won’t say but I bet you already have a guess 🙂

Since it’s Jawbreaker Day when M and I went to Zark’s, we had to wait several minutes before we were seated. And once we were, the crew immediately asked us if we’re there for the Jawbreaker. We replied saying we are and then she told us to wait 20-25 minutes for the food to arrive.

True enough, our orders came after about 20 minutes. The Jawbreaker is HUGE. “Can I finish this?,” I asked myself. Then I opened my mouth and started eating it.

It’s hot. It’s juicy. The patties, spam, and bacon were tasty. And the lettuce and tomatoes looked fresh. One thing I didn’t like was the fries. It’s a bit oily for me. But I did finish all of it, if you’re asking. Else, I’d pay 200 instead of 150.
