Wee Nam Kee, known for its chicken rice, opens at the Ayala Triangle Gardens on the corner of Paseo and Makati Avenue this November 15th. Wee Nam Kee serves “Luji” (stock chicken), “Shaoji” (roasted chicken), and “Baiji” (white chicken) along with other complementary dishes.
We don’t have to travel to Singapore anymore to have a taste of their delicious chicken dishes. Yey!
“Shaoji” or often call roasted chicken with rice is a popular choice for frequent foodies.
The other popular chicken dish is the Hainanese Chicken Rice which will debut in the Philippines at a price of P170.
Too much chicken in your table? Bring in some cereal prawn!
Any chicken rice are best served with other complementary dishes to bring out the best authentic Nanyang-inspired eating experience.
Did you know? Wee Nam Kee is a son-and-pop shop family business that started in 1987? In fact, after two generations, they had proudly preserved the heritage and recipes they have refined over the years.
Excited much? Our Awesome Planet is organizing a Wee Nam Kee Manila foodie event on November 14th, one day before they open. For P350 per head you’ll get steamed and roasted chicken combination + chicken rice, cereal prawns (2 prawns per pax), choice of vegetable (either Dou Miao in Oyster Sauce or Sambal Kangkong), and a choice of drink: Lime Juice or Barley.

disappointed! service sucks! i went there to have a taste of cereal prawn, wala! incomplete! too pricy tpos kakaunti yung servings! though masarap ang food ang service zero! masyado kasi silang busy sa ibang bagay nalilimutan n nila yung customer nila.
I’m sorry to hear your experience with them, foodcritik. Baka sa susunod mas maayus na..
