At around noon yesterday I went to SM Mall of Asia to meet a friend and since both of us haven’t had our lunch yet we looked for a good place to eat. My friend told suggested we eat at Pollo Loco but I told her we already dined there before and I’d like to try a new place. When we’re walking inside the Entertainment Building we saw many people inside Dennis the Grill Boy so we decided try the place.
Inside, we were greeted by a smiling cashier. Like I said, the place was almost full of people so I let my friend find us a place and I ordered our meal. We got ourselves a Luis Boneless Chicken Inasal, Pork Liempo, and Pupung’s Original Crispy Pork & Mango Salad.
Luis Boneless Chicken Inasal was juicy and tastes just right, more so when dipped into the vinegar sauce. The meal comes with atsara and java rice. If you’re that hungry, just ask for another scoop of rice. like Mang Inasal, they offer unlimited rice!
Lelong’s Liempo was tasty but a bit oily. It also comes with atsara and java rice.
It’s my first time to eat a pork & mango salad and I liked it. It’s a dish of bagoong, chopped pork, green mango, onions, and tomatoes.
I just learned today that Dennis the Grill Boy was formerly known as Pupung & Friends. My friend and I enjoyed dining at Dennis the Grill Boy. They serve deliciously affordable meal in a decent place. I give it a score of 3.5/5.
